The gap between knowledge and results is almost never a knowledge problem. It's a structure problem.
For 17 years at Microsoft — ending as CTO for West, East and Central Africa — Marc watched the same thing happen everywhere he went. Smart, motivated people would leave a training session energised, and within 72 hours they were back to their old habits. The content was rarely the problem. The follow-through was.
So he started from a different hypothesis: what fails isn't the knowledge, it's the structure around it. Nothing turns a good session into a changed behaviour. He kept testing that idea after Microsoft — founding Aetheis, helping launch a business angel network in Mauritius, speaking at HEC Paris on tech entrepreneurship, and writing 20 books along the way.
